Supplier Partner FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Our clients are asking suppliers to provide the following information about their business. Global manufacturing location addresses, emergency contact personnel at these sites, major activity undertaken at the site and recovery time for the site in case of a major disruption. If an alternate site is available to take over this business in a disruption, we ask for the location of the alternate site and the time it takes to resume supply. We also ask that you upload the list of parts that you make at each manufacturing site.
Yes, many of your competitors are participating in this effort.
Resilinc Corporation’s software and services offering helps companies improve visibility to global locations that are critical to the supply chain – it is an information and analytics platform and enables companies to proactively manage disruptions and recover quickly. Resilinc’s standardized approach to resiliency ensures that customers can access suppliers’ location and recovery information without putting undue additional burden on their suppliers. Our clients have authorized Resilinc to contact suppliers for gathering information on their behalf. On the Resilinc platform, suppliers can securely share information with selected/approved customers about their multi-tier supply chain visibility, business continuity, and hurricane preparedness, etc.
Typically, an initiative like this follows an annual refresh cycle.
The time taken depends on the number and type of manufacturing sites, activities performed and number of parts made there, and how readily accessible this information is to you.
Resilinc’s platform is our new product upgrade. Our platform promises to save you time and effort, brings exciting new capabilities, and a crisp, modern user interface, and it is mobile supported.
The purpose of collecting this information is to proactively identify global supply chain locations where our parts originate. During a crisis event which has the potential to disrupt our operations, we will quickly pull up sites which are located in the impacted area. All the information provided by you here will be available to key client users. It helps you to reduce multiple redundant inquiries you might be getting from your customers today in case of a disruption. Also, we want to avoid asking you these questions while you’re trying to recover your business. During a crisis, we would also know proactive measures you have in place to recover your business quickly. This reduces the number of requests for information you have to support during a disruption. Having access to this information beforehand also helps us to collaborate more effectively with you on getting business back up and running. A key benefit of providing this information to the Resilinc platform is that you can share it with other customers who may be requesting the same type of visibility. Resilinc’s solution allows you full control over which customers get access to your information.
This is a supply chain visibility exercise. Suppliers who refuse to participate are perceived as higher risk suppliers due to lack of information about their footprint and recovery practices. The more information you share with us, the better our customers will be able to collaborate with you and participate in the recovery effort.

The Resilinc cloud-based solution is secure. The salient security certifications of this platform are its Industrial Strength, Scalable, Secure, and Multi-Tenant Architecture. Security: Firewalls, IDS, network scans, strong password policies Privacy: EU Safe Harbor, TRUSTe, ISO 27001, SAS 70 Type II, SysTrust, SOC 2 Type 2 Compliant Individual orgs/environments for each entity are accessible by secure HTTPS access only to supplier’s employees.
